Program History

Empire All-Stars began with humble roots as Flip Twist Academy, a recreational tumbling program focused on providing better progressions and technique for cheerleaders. What started as a small but ambitious program quickly gained momentum, evolving into Empire All-Stars in 2022 with a bold vision to redefine the allstar cheer experience in the Twin Cities and beyond.

In just a few seasons, Empire has rapidly established itself as a premier cheer destination, with athletes traveling from near and far to experience something truly different in allstar cheerleading. Our program has quickly become known for its commitment to providing a unique, growth-focused environment where athletes can thrive, both individually and as part of a supportive, team-centered community. Empire All-Stars is not just a place to train; it's a place where athletes are inspired to reach their fullest potential and families find community.

Empire has earned numerous Division, Level, and Grand Championship titles at regional and national competitions. Last season, our Youth Level 1 team dominated the competition, remaining undefeated and securing multiple Level and Grand Championship wins. Meanwhile, our Level 2 team earned a prestigious paid bid to the Allstar World Championships in Orlando, FL, marking an extraordinary achievement in our young program’s history.

This season, we are excited to expand our excellence by adding two new elite-level teams, further demonstrating our commitment to nurturing top-tier talent. As our athletes continue to grow and excel, we are dedicated to building a robust program that meets their evolving needs. Looking ahead to the 2025-2026 season, Empire All-Stars plans to introduce a Level 4 option, offering even more advanced opportunities for our dedicated cheerleaders to develop their skills and reach their highest potential.
